Materials and recycled content

We prioritise recycled and renewable inputs where they perform well. Every product lists its key materials and a suggested end-of-life pathway.

Materials, by product family

Cabinets & plinths – Frames: recycled aluminium (around 95% recycled content, post-consumer). Skins: 100% recycled polyester. Designed for repeat reuse and reconfiguration, with skins that swap out for a refresh or rebrand.

Upholstered furniture – Fabric: recycled polyester. Structure: compressed strawboard frame with pine, foam and steel. Built for commercial use and long life.

Seating (Tero, Ovalo) – Shell: 80% post-consumer recycled content, with 20% fibreglass reinforcement for strength. Designed for a long service life.

Tables – Steel base with swappable tops, including Replene, a tabletop made from internally recovered scrap polyethylene. Change the top without replacing the base.

Certifications

Selected recycled inputs are covered by independent certification, including Global Recycled Standard (GRS) scope certification. Our quality and environmental management systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. We're a Better Stands supporter (NZCE) and a member of the Australian Business Events Association (ABEA). Certification applies to materials and systems within scope and can be independently verified.
