End of life clarity
Clear guidance for what’s next.
Circular design means we think about end of life at the design stage. We
choose materials and build methods that support reuse, separation, and
recycling.
Local options vary. If you are unsure, reach out and we will help you
choose the right pathway.
.
Replene HDPE tops
Intended for long-term reuse and reconfiguration.
Green Loop Global supports end-of-life through a take-back program for HDPE recycling.
Grano strawboard components
Made from compressed agricultural straw and designed for repeated reuse.
When no longer suitable for reuse, panels are biodegradable and suitable for
controlled composting or fibre recovery pathways.
Tero range and Ovalo Chair
Built for durability and multiple reuse cycles.
Repurposing is the preferred end-of-use outcome.
Where reuse is no longer viable, a take-back pathway may be available.
Commercial terms, logistics, and cost-sharing are agreed prior to return.
Aluminium frames and cabinet frames
Built for repeated reuse across multiple installations. Aluminium frames can be fully recycled at end of life.
Table bases
Built for long service life in commercial environments.
Steel bases can be recycled through standard metal recycling streams at end of life.
.
Vanta Stool
Designed for durability and repeated use.
At end of life, components can be separated: steel frame recycled through metal streams, polypropylene shell recycled through plastics recycling streams, and gas lift handled through appropriate mechanical or metal recycling channels.
Textile skins and fabrics
Designed to be removed and replaced.
Fabrics can be recycled through local textile recycling streams.
Upholstered furniture
Designed for extended use.
When no longer suitable for reuse, products can be dismantled and materials separated for recycling through appropriate local streams.
Product data sheet pathway
We place an end-of-life pathway on every product data sheet.
It is a practical suggestion based on the materials in that product and common local recycling streams.
