Carbon Metrics: CO₂e A1–A3 + Planet Price
Two numbers, used on their own merits. A clear carbon figure for reporting and specification, and a single Planet Price that captures the wider environmental footprint. Both are at product level, with clear scope and units.
Planet Price
The Planet Price goes beyond carbon. It captures a product’s full environmental footprint, across carbon, water, land and pollution, as a single dollar figure. One number, the whole picture.
What you’ll see in a Planet Price snapshot: the product name and a Resource ID for traceability · a Planet Price total for the product’s footprint · primary impact drivers, shown as a simple breakdown · resource hotspots (which components drive most of the impact) · impacts modelled across carbon, water, land and pollution.

Cradle-to-gate CO₂e (A1–A3)
A product carbon footprint reported as kg CO₂e for stages A1–A3: A1 raw materials, A2 transport to manufacturing, A3 manufacturing. It does not include shipping to site, the use phase or end of life. We can extend coverage on request once those assumptions are confirmed.
How to use them
Two metrics that give you better, broader information. CO₂e (A1–A3) is the cradle-to-gate carbon figure, a clear number for reporting and specification. The Planet Price widens the lens to a product’s total environmental footprint across carbon, water, land and pollution. Together they give the fuller picture; use whichever fits the decision in front of you.
Method & data status
CO₂e is calculated using One Click LCA with ecoinvent datasets. Where an external LCA is confirmed, the A1–A3 value is shown as “Externally assessed (LCA), A1–A3 cradle-to-gate”; elsewhere a Planet Price modelled result is shown. Clear scope, clear units, and an update date on every figure. We never describe the carbon as independently verified or certified.
